# How setup works

> An overview of setting up Face Age in your Shopify store.

Face Age adds an AI-powered skin analysis experience to your Shopify storefront. Customers upload a facial image and receive personalized results — such as their estimated skin age and overall skin health — which you can pair with tailored product recommendations to drive discovery and conversion.

This guide walks you through everything you need to run Face Age in your store: first-time setup, connecting your product catalog, customizing the analysis results page and storefront extensions, and choosing how customer analysis history is stored.
